Howdah (Elephant ride)

A miniature marvel created in wood. This beauty was actually obtained from an artisan in a tiny village, who lovingly carved it as a toy for his daughter. Her love for her father made her  very carefully preserved it. Notice the marks of age at the edges. These were not artificially created to give it a look of antiquity. This Howdah IS actually an old, carefully preserved, cherished gift.

Ganesha (The Noble Elephant God)

A miniature marvel created in wood. This beautiful miniature is the image of Ganesha, the Elephant God, revered in many parts of India as the God who destroys all obstacles ! Many in India believe that the more Ganeshas you have in your home the more happiness, peace and prosperity you beget.
